Frankie Knuckles & Jamie Principle – Your Love

As far as tunes go this is truly an iconic song, labeled as one of the first songs to be considered as Chicago House it was produced by Jamie Principle and also on the credits is DJ Frankie Knuckles. Released in 1984 , it incorporates vocals and lyrics from Jamie Principle which are from a poem he had written by his then girlfriend Lisa. After hearing the track one of his friends put it on tape and passed it on to Frankie Knuckles who would then play it often as part of his sets. The track quickly spread through the underground house scene before been officially released a year later and entering the charts. The song to this date is recognised by house music fans as one of the originals and has even seen itself reincarnated/remixed many times. Check it out
